The fall of the regime and putting Serbia among the countries in transition have caused the dilemma and the topic of the new TV series SOFA – How to preserve an autonomous critical position, individuality, while at the same time communicating with Europe?

The “Sofa” show assertively engages its viewers with current political and economic problems, the growth of inequality and rising gaps between rich and poor, the issues of government corruption, rising poverty, and its relation to rigidly-held and stubbornly promoted nationalistic, close-minded, and isolationist policies of former leaders. 

These problems  have been analyzed in the context of a human rights framework, particularly attempting to explore how a human rights approach can help us better understand these issues, and, what is more important, help us find mechanisms of dealing with them and promoting adequate solutions.
