Every year, from November 25 to December 10, “16 days of activism against violence against women” is marked. It is a global, global campaign marked by 1,700 organizations in over 100 countries. As part of the campaign “16 days of activism against violence against women”, in the period from 23 to 30 November, ShockART, with the support of the Coordination Body for Gender Equality of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, organized a campaign to combat violence against women.
In order to raise awareness and take action to combat violence against women, the campaign produced documentaries in which, with their story of nonviolence, women victims of violence, youth and public figures participate, and screenings were organized for high school students. Visitors to the cinema at the Parobrod Cultural Institution in Belgrade could also see posters with photos of 10 public figures and their message against violence against women and girls. These posters also branded the interior of buses of 20 bus lines in Belgrade.
